Customer Reviews
The receptionist is so rude. Just moved a block from this office, I called to see if they administer weekly allergy shots so my husband doesn’t have to drive 25 minutes to Scottsdale. I was abruptly cut off and told they aren’t accepting new patients and she would just refer me back up to Scottsdale. Words that describe her tone: annoyed, impatient, lacking empathy. None of these belong in a doctor’s office but welcome to Arizona!! The bar is ultra low and people need to be called out or it will never get better.
It took me almost a month to get in here, and after I signed in and had been waiting 10 minutes without so much as a "hello," or "be with you in a few minutes," I heard the nurse say in a really snarky tone, “This new patient hasn’t even bothered to show up.” Then my phone rang. Yup, she called me to ask where I was. When I told her I was in the waiting room, she looked out from behind the desk and said, "Oh, we didn’t see you come in." I told her I signed in on the sheet, and she didn’t respond. Not "oops, sorry!" or anything. I am not a ninja, nor do I own a cloak of invisibility: I clearly saw them when I came in, but they were too busy gossiping and trash-talking people to notice me. After 35 minutes, I went up to the desk to ask if I was going to be seen, and the receptionist said i
Dr. Wachter might be my favorite doctor of all time. Not only was he extremely thorough, but he asked questions that none of the other doctors did. He spent over an hour with me, was exceptionally nice and was never dismissive (as other doctors tend to be). He answered all of my questions and explained everything in depth. He also scheduled a follow up right away. Fantastic experience and doctor! Couldn’t recommend more.
Dr. Wachter has been my doctor for over 25 years! He is one of the absolute best doctors I've ever had the honor of knowing and being treated by. Dr. Wachter consistently goes above and beyond for his patients. He has saved my life on several occasions and I absolutely trust him unconditionally. He is the most compassionate doctor I know. He is extremely well versed in all things asthma and immunology and has given talks, written papers and done research for other healthcare providers. I can't thank Dr. Wachter enough for taking such great care of me all these years. I highly recommend him unconditionally!!
A Five Star rating does not do justice to this exceptional physician. I have been a patient of Dr. Wachter's for many years. He has been a True God Send. He genuinely cares about his patients and this is extremely obvious. Being a Mount Sinai NYC Medical School graduate he takes pride in focusing on cutting edge technologies and medicine. He will take the time to explain to you the best options available and why. Takes his time?......Really?.....They don't make doctors like him anymore. So if you are looking for a caring doctor who will treat you like a patient and not just a chart, I strongly suggest that you make an appointment with Dr Allan Wachter. It will be the best thing you have ever done for yourself, I Promise!
