He treated me for 6 years but the 2 years have been the worst. I took my son who had been coughing for more than 4 months and the doctor said it was just a cough. I took him to the emergency room and he suffered from asthma. I waited almost a year for them to give me permission and make an appointment to have the surgery on my hand. I have a glaucoma and the doctor only told me that the paperwork could not be moved. I really wasted my time and the doctor only told me sorry he can't do anything... I didn't know what to do and someone recommended ALBANY HEALTH SISTEM 391 Myrtle Ave Ste 1B, Albany, NY 12208. I went and in not even a month I already have my surgery.

They don't call anyone back, regardless of how much of a detailed message you leave them. I'm not a new patient of this address, I have all of my information they need there. Past radiological reports etc. Medical secretary is horrendous.

They are helping me a great deal with the complicated back problems I have. They are all exceptionally respectful and helpful here, especially Dr. Dirisio, NP Brielle Robinson, and Dr. Andrew Hun Lee.

Dr. DiRisio and his team did a lumbar procedure on my mom. Her pain and quality of life are significantly improved. Dr.DiRisio personally visited her daily every day post procedure for the duration of her hospital stay. He’s not just an extremely talented surgeon; he truly cares about his patients. Thank you, Dr. DiRisio for the profound impact you have had on our family.

Update: after the one star review, I received a call on the receptionist’s day off to schedule the appointment. The Dr. was excellent, reviewing all records and the office staff very helpful in getting another record immediately to help us make informed decisions. Would definitely feel comfortable with him as a surgeon. I changed my review to 3 stars due to unneeded late timing of the second opinion. See below- I have been trying to make a second opinion appointment with this doctor based on his experience as a neurosurgeon. Records were sent 6 weeks ago. I have called 6 times. The office has not called back. Time is of the essence with cervical spine surgery. This failure to return the phone call is absolutely unacceptable.
