I absolutely adore Carrie. I moved an hour away but will STILL drive to see her! She's so kind and professional and I genuinely get excited for our appointments. There have been several times where I'll casually mention one TINY symptom and then another TINY symptom and Carrie will ask more questions and then perfectly diagnose and treat exactly what I'm dealing with. She is an absolute rockstar.

Dr. Abrahamson is the Greatest! Always a pleasure and she is very thorough in asking questions as well as a excellent listener. I know when I see her, I will soon be feeling better because she makes accurate diagnosis and efficient/ effective treatment. When the doctor doesn't have an appointment time available soon, I am happy to see one of the NPs and confident I will receive excellent evaluation and treatment.i saw NP Carrie Barker in my most recent appointment. I have been a patient at Albemarle Center for Family Medicine for over 35 years and a patient of Dr. Abrahamson for about 10 years since a partner retired. I have been extremely well served. It amazes me how much time that she spends with me and never seems to be in a hurry. She is very thorough in her assessments and always includes me in her treatment decisions. Honestly, I would have given her a ten, if there had been more stars.

I've been a patient of this practice for years, and my last few visits have been increasingly disappointing. They seem to have a complete lack of respect for your time and a sense of carelessness that is unacceptable in a medical practice. Most recently, I tried to make an appointment regarding a medication dosage. I found out later that they'd actually scheduled a different patient with the same last name. After resolving that issue, I had my appointment. I arrived a few minutes early, and yet I didn't actually see the NP until 40 minutes past my appointment time. We had our appointment and she put in orders for a blood draw, and I was sent back to the lobby, where I waited another 45 minutes. I met with Hayley Berry for my annual physical. She was very helpful in answering all my questions and I appreciated how she was both friendly and professional. Dr. Sanusi is my regular doctor and he is simply superb in every way—I never feel rushed with him and feel personally cared for. My wife and I have been going to this clinic ever since we moved to Charlottesville and we love it! You’re the best kept secret in Charlottesville.
