My cat has been a patient here for about a year, since he was a kitten. We have always seen Dr. Watson, and this past visit was my last straw. My cat has always been healthy with no issues ever reported. We went in for a routine one year checkup, and Dr. Watson misdiagnosed a heart murmur. Additionally, they never called with blood test results as “they lost them.” For context, I just received a second (very thorough) opinion at a new veterinary clinic. The doctor confirmed there is no heart murmur but rather Dr. Watson most likely misread his breathes and movements in between heart beats as a murmur. Walking into a clean, brightly lit, open office with a divider between sitting areas. My appointment was given about 15 late, but they were busy. Check out happened right in the room so no gathering at the desk to checkout. Doctor and staff were friendly and genuinely kind to everyone they interacted with. Parking lot was quite full, but is that ever a bad thing? Just be careful maneuvering in and out of the lot. Very pleased with this biz.

One of the best experiences I’ve ever had that the vet - we were quoted a very reasonable price for our cats unblocking procedure, and it fell under the quote! Super friendly staff who explain everything in laymen’s terms!! Would recommend to anyone for their little friends!!

My first experience with Animal Hospital of Boone was a positive one. They came very highly recommended. I'm sure my cat, Shadow, will be well taken care of here. I've had my little man back several times since the 1st visit. I have always been pleased with the service provided. I feel they genuinely care for their patients and their owners.

The whole team is amazing and Dr Shutt is so good with our dog Sadie although she wants to nip her every time.
