Pre-authorizations rarely completed on time, delaying care. Walls are thin and staff jokes about patients in the hallway. Extremely difficult to get through to the correct phone number for help. Often redirected to the wrong office even with extensive clarification. Billing issues. Staffing issues. Communication issues. Most clinical staff will not answer additional questions and will not discuss more than one topic at an appointment, even if they are related issues. Often on hold for significant periods of time. Edit: I was in fact not contacted to correct this issue. Unfortunate. This is definitely a scam practice. I saw them at MIT and turns out they have acquired the dermatology practice there. The doctor saw me for 5 minutes, did not ask anything about medical history. Doctor did not actually enter the time spent in lot the patient notes, and no notes were sent to me. No one took any blood pressure or other test. However, they billed for a 45 minutes new patient appointment which is exorbitant and refuse to change the billing code. They are clearly cheaters and should be ashamed to be in the medical profession. I’m sorry this is the option available to MIT students.

Edit: Despite APDerm’s reply below they did not reach out to contact me. Also, the Somerville office (including the NP I saw) were already aware of my experience. I’ve never written a bad review before but I feel compelled to write one now. I was referred to AP derm and scheduled an appointment for a consultation. Before the visit I called to confirm if they had the treatment I was requesting and they said they couldn’t tell me anything about the available treatments before my visit. At my first appointment NP Neha Parmar explained that they didn’t keep any chemical peels (the treatment I was requesting) at that location. She told me that I should call my previous dermatologist and find out the exact peel I’d had before and call her office with that info before my next appointment so that
