We’ve taken our bird here for about 6 years now! Dr. Walth has been a huge help with our bird, he’s a kind and gets straight to the point, he’s wonderful with the pets! He has helped with our bird who has cancer and now with hopefully good news; we got rid of it! I’ve seen other cute animals go in like snakes, turtles, ferrets, rabbits and more!! It can be a reasonable price depending on what they’re coming in there for! Sometimes it can be pricy but it’s worth it for our pets! They also trim the beak, nails and cut some of his feathers shorter. The staff is very kind!

Dr. Belusic and technician Brittany (I believe her name was) was absolutely fantastic. We brought our Egyptian false cobra in due to an abscess around his tail. Both the doctor and the technician explained everything very well and did not seem bothered by the questions that we had. This is definitely the only place we will bring our reptiles! With the Breed of snake that our little guy (not your standard snake breed) they we’re still very informed.

I cannot recommend AZ Exotics highly enough. The entire staff provided exceptional care for my rabbit during his extended (and ultimately terminal) illness. Dr. Walth and Dr. Klein both treated my bun with genuine love and compassion. They took the time to thoroughly explain all of my options at every stage, including when we reached the end, which meant more to me than I can express. Every person I encountered at this office was wonderful. They understood how stressful it was to keep coming back for ongoing treatment, and they made each visit as comfortable as possible for both of us. If you're looking for a vet who will treat your pet like family and support you through both routine care and the most challenging times, this is the place.

Great place with knowledgeable staff. I took my hedgehog in and they were able to diagnose him with too big of a heart. So he was medically prescribed with medicine that keeps him running on his wheels at night. Took my corn snake Elote to get the end of his tail shed removed and they were able to keep his tip. Animals are our families and they were able to make me feel comfortable and reassured. UPDATE I had a great experience from start to finish with this vet clinic. From the kindness of the front desk to all the extra help and shadowing vet techs. Hedgie had a heart issue that the doctor prescribed medication for, amazingly his condition got better not worse. I was able to love him months after his diagnosis. Unfortunately due to his age and failing liver I had to make the heart brea

losing a family pet (this time as a parent) is never a good thing. You gave us facts, didn't sugar coat anything and at the same time sympathetic and caring. Her cage mate responded well to the antibiotics and doing well. You can tell she's sad and misses her cage mate, but she's been showered with attention and goodies. I was shocked how much it cost to euthanize a pet rat. Not complaining! just shocked. thank you all tim I would mention them individually if I could remember their names :) . However, our pet rat, Beyoncé, was euthanized, and every technician and doctor was wonderful to work with during such a difficult time. bedside manner. #1 most important skill you can have.
