Art City Vets & Urgent Care

I didn’t want to write this review, but I’ve sat on it for a couple months and I think I deserve to be heard and my opinion is very important on September 3, 2025 my puppy was three months At the time, She jumped off of my sofa and break her left arm. I took her that same night to an emergency vet and due to short staff issue i had to go elsewhere the next morning , which would’ve been 4 September when I visited Art City Vet .. someone told me they were really good and I did believe them. I took my puppy there. They kept her for a couple hours saying they have to do an x-ray on her however that took about 3hrs or more and i sat and waited thinking the impossible they called and said the vet is ready to speak to me . Great facility! Professional, kind, caring, knowledgeable and very organized! They are well-staffed and keep things moving at a relaxed but good pace. Very comfortable waiting room with indoor and outdoor seating, snacks and coffee. All of the front desk staff and the vet techs are wonderful and of course Dr. Vivian Tran, a superstar! She is so smart, professional, compassionate and patient. a real diagnostician!

Really liked the way that the tech, Kevin, and Dr. Zamanian spoke with me, and the way that they took time to answer my questions. The place does not smell dominantly either of animal excretions or of disinfectant, which seems like it's pretty remarkable. The vibe of the staff was positive and energetic. I like my usual vet, but the vibe there is excessively low-key and doldrum-y at times. Given I was worried about my pet, it helped to have a clean, welcoming, positive space and folks. There was some confusion (?) with front desk and getting finished with paperwork, which resulted in what seemed like a very long wait to leave, but this is, in the end, minor. Still waiting for labs, but overall it was positive.

We called so many places in philly to get our dog put to sleep and cremated, everyone was extremely rude and way over priced. When we finally found this place, the person that answered the phone was super nice we knew we had to go here. The front desk staff Amy was absolutely wonderful and even got us in when they were at max capacity. When we got there they got us right into a room and the tech Katie came in and was so sweet. She explained the process in detail and answered any questions. They let us be in the room when they put him to sleep. They didn’t rush us out. Katie came back in after it was done and gave us the cutest paw prints. When we walked out after the procedure they had the cutest sign. They’re so reasonably priced, super nice. Our cat Snake was quickly seen by making an appointment with urgent care staff. Upon evaluation they thoroughly explored options, navigated his issues, and provided clear and direct communication regarding treatment plan options and costs. Snake is improving nicely since beginning the recommended treatment. The staff I interacted with were professional, kind, thoughtful, patient, and lighthearted. For me, the right blend of proficiency and compassion. Just the people I want caring for my loved ones. Thank you.
