Dr. Szwed is the most competent Cardiac care physician I have ever had the good fortune to know. I am a retired detective after forty-one years of service. Dr. Szwed helped me dodge a bullet More than twenty years ago. Due to his acute professionalism he ordered some diagnostic tests and found my “‘widow maker” artery was more than eighty per cent obstructed. He ordered a stent placement and for all practical purposes saved my life. My employment as a law enforcement officer required immediate physical exertion making me a prime suspect for a heart-attack. He subsequently adjusted my medication to avoid ocular hemorrhaging. Prescribed a blood thinner to allow my heart some relief from overworking. He monitored me through a short lived situation of afibrillation. Most recently since I’m 75

All the staff at Crawfordsville are excellent. They are professional, courteous and take time to explain procedures and answer questions. Dr. Szwed is the best doctor I have experienced in my 79 years!

Dr. Trippi recognized the change in my heart valve and explained the problem to me. He ordered a test and asked the nurse to schedule that same day. He conveyed the urgency of following through but eased my mind with the reassurance that it wasn’t a big emergency that day so i haven’t been anxious or afraid. (I’m normal so yes I am a little anxious). I have been examined by Dr. Trippi for approximately 10 years and I will continue to count on him and the courteous staff

Dr James Trippi is top knotch in the heart specialists field. My former neighbor, Betty Groves, went to him and always raved about his knowledge and expertise.
