Ascension Seton Bastrop

Absolutely amazing staff, Will the nurse was fantastic and the doctor was informative but did not over stress the situation. My husband was already completely freaked out about the situation so having such a caring and funny doctor made it easier for him! Thank you Bastrop Ascension Seton we really appreciate the care and speed of our visit yesterday!

Took our daughter there @ ER last Sat. Was seen and had CT scan. They could not do an Ultrasound, due to no tech being there. Told us to return next day Sunday to have that done. We left and returned Sunday morning, still in pain and very weak. Had to pay another ER visit for Sunday. They charged us $799.51 twice. We have no Insurance and this hospital is scamming people for 2 visits when they told us to return at our most vulnerable time.

My dad has been receiving bills from seton for a surgery he never had! This originated from seton Bastrop with the wrong person, transferred to Seton hays to have surgery, while all along they were performing a surgery on a person who was NOT THE CORRECT PERSON. This has affected my dad’s credit and him being harassed by many different collectors. Whoever this person was that had surgery got off with no bills because they put everything under my dad’s name! Malpractice lawsuit!

On Saturday, September 27, 2025, my son broke a few bones in his arm. I rushed him to Ascension Seton in Bastrop, where the ER staff promptly began treatment. During the initial assessment, an X-ray was taken using a mobile machine. One of the staff members kindly offered me to take a photo of the X-ray (I did NOT ask), which I appreciated and did. My son doesn’t drink, smoke, or use recreational substances, so when the fentanyl began to take effect, he became a bit silly—winking and raising his eyebrows at me in a humorous way. I recorded a short video of him during that moment. It’s a memory I’ll cherish, especially given the circumstances. I recently visited the Ascension Seton Bastrop ER. I have never been in a more efficiently and organized ER ever! I was turning in my registration papers when they got notice of incoming vehicle accident victims. I was waiting and figured I’d be there for some time while that was going on. In about 15 minutes I was called back to start my process. I was amazed at how well the whole place ran. I got a CT scan within the hour. This is not the norm that I have ever experienced in any other Emergency Room. Thank you so much for your excellent service!
