Astera Care Home

I highly recommend Astera Care Home for the exceptional care that my husband Larry received while he was there. God bless the caregivers Aaron, Kevin, Lilibeth and the owner Sharon who all very professional and have loving,, understanding, and compassionate hearts. They treat the residents like their own family and take care of their needs. The care home is very clean and cozy and the backyard is relaxing for the residents to enjoy the sun and the garden. I also love the fact that they celebrate each resident’s birthday, Father’s Day and Thanksgiving making it really special with cake and person’s favorite food with balloons and beautiful backdrop. My dad has been under the care of Astera since May of last year. The quality of care has been exceptional. The staff is very professional, caring. The facility is immaculately clean, a very comfortable environment, two vegetable gardens in the backyard and fruit trees. There is a patio in the backyard and artificial turf for the residents to enjoy. The staff does coordinate picnics in the back during warm weather. My father has Parkinson's and requires exercise, assistance with dressing and bathing, restroom needs, medicine management, washing of clothes, and personal maintenance. My brother and I and all friends and family who visit the facility are impressed.
