I just wanted to take a moment to share how incredible our experience has been with Astoria Speech. When we first began exploring speech therapy for my son, who has a speech delay, we were unsure of what to expect. From the very beginning, Leah, the owner, went above and beyond to ensure my son was matched with the right speech-language pathologist — and she absolutely nailed it. We’ve been working with Lauren Maddoff, and I truly cannot recommend her enough. She brings so much warmth, energy, and fun to every session that my son genuinely looks forward to speech — he sees it as just another one of his favorite activities, right up there with taekwondo, soccer, and swimming! My son have been going to astoria Speach and language for more than a year now. I love the place. Honestly I think stuff is great at the front desk. Always answers the phone and if you need to reschedule is very easy. All the therapists are extremely nice and very good at what they do. I have tried a different ones and my son loves them. He is always so happy and eager to go inside the room and play with a therapist.

I don’t know how to start explaining my experience. First I want to thank the owner and the founder of this place. This place is an absolute amazing place for my toddler. My toddler loves going there, especially when we get in to the elevator, she runs looking for her speech therapist. My toddler has been getting speech therapy with Lauren and I can’t thank Lauren enough for the ongoing effort she puts in the session. Every session leaves a remark on my toddler. I am beyond happy with this place. The staff are very welcoming and warm. This place, showed me that they will go above and beyond to help your toddler. I am very grateful for this opportunity and for this wonderful place in Astoria.

Laura has been amazing. My son is 5 years old and has a slight stutter. I became concerned when i realized how it was affecting his reading in school and soundng certain letters or syllables out. He has improved so much and I am very happy with the results. I must admit that it was a slow start and I questioned the methods used but it all came full circle. I was also given tools to implement at home to further help my son when he struggles. Thank you again.
