Atrium Place Health and Rehabilitation

The staff that took care of our loved one was great. The nurses were responsive every time we asked for something. They are a little short staffed. I am sure it is because of budget reasons. The place is getting some updates which is needed but the care was great. All of the staff care about their patients. They joke around and talk to their patients. Everyone was nice and friendly. I feel some of the reviews forget that it is a nursing home and not a hospital. Tianna and staff was absolutely amazing. She always took time out of her day and answered every question we had.

We have nothing but positive things to say about Atrium. The staff is amazing. They are so willing to help with everything. They have went out of their way to get to know my sister and fulfill her needs and demands. The residents all look out for each other. I couldn't ask for a better experience in such a dreadful time.

I will say staffing is nice and down to earth. But on the downside if your loved one requires close monitoring this is not the place for you. Currently watching my mother's call light go off for 20 minutes. No one has come to see what is needed, if it's an emergency or anything. I go to the nursing station where there is a total of 4 staff behind the nursing station. I inform them she needs changing she stated she has already urinated twice going on her third time and no one has come . One staff member replied, "I am on break." I proceed to ask well who is not on break *silence* .. I walk back to my mother's room grabbed supplies off the cart on my way and changed her myself... we are currently at 40 minutes now and still no staff has not showed up. If I could give 0 stars I would. The employees treat the patients like crap. My mom was there one day and supposedly passed out while doing occupational therapy. The nurse told me over the phone she was responsive and on her way to the hospital. When I got to the hospital I was told she was never responsive and she had passed away. If anyone has family there or is looking for a place to put their loved ones I would not recommend this trifling place.

I visited the St Louis Place on 11/24/2021. My Sister in Christ is a resident there. I was welcomed at the front door by the receptionist. She provided assistance with the sign in and visitor process. My hands were full so she typed the information for me. I was really impressed with the physical layout of the center. The hub is in the center and the wards extend out from there. The center was clean and no fowl order was detectable. The staff was professional dressed and efficient. I have spoken to MS. Carla Wilson by phone and was happy to meat her personally. I enjoyed my visit. I look forward to revisiting.
