Barre Central

Came as a drop in for a yoga class with my mom while visiting Treasure Island. The only downside is that you when booking through the website, you have to create an account to save your spot and I couldn’t find a way to pay for two people at once, so my mom and I had to sign up separately. However, the rest of the experience was great. The studio is beautifully decorated, colorful, clean, and peaceful. They offer Pilates and barre as well. The yoga class we did was challenging, but the pace was good, and the instructor was nice. Provided modifications as needed if a position was tough or not comfortable. They provide mats, blocks, etc.

Best instructors around!! All the classes here are rewarding and approachable for both beginners and seasoned pros. I look forward to class and feel fantastic after.

I rarely leave Google reviews but the experience at this studio was so amazing that it felt like an injustice to the studio to not leave one. Oh, my God. I show up for my first class and as I’m filling out the waiver, I notice the instructor (Sue) greeting everyone that comes in BY NAME. She literally knew everyone’s names which is just incredible. I walk into the class, set up my equipment, and the next thing I know my instructor is introducing me to everyone in the class. It felt like such a comfortable, judge-free environment and Sue made it very clear that you could sit out any exercise that didn’t make you feel comfortable/didn’t feel good on your body. I attended a Tone & Tighten class with Sue yesterday afternoon. It was an incredible experience from start to finish. Sue was friendly, down to earth and easy to talk to and a top notch instructor to top it all off. I am pregnant and Sue provided all of the modifications I could have asked for & more. It was my first time visiting this studio and Sue won me over. I will surely be back.

Barre Central is my favorite workout studio in St. Pete. They provide classes that are instructed by trained professionals, and are easy to follow along with. The community that the owner has created is like no other Barre/Pilates studio I’ve been to. Everyone is super friendly and welcoming. Instructor, Sue, is very accommodating if you have injury and will give advice on what workouts will work best for your body. I would highly recommend this studio to anyone who is wanting to get into fitness.
