Behavioral Health Center

I started therapy at Kings County Behavioral Health Clinic since 2021, during the pandemic. I have worked with six different psychiatrist, psychologist, and Licences Clinical Social Workers all together, they are all deserving of my gratitude. I have had only had few disagreeable experiences with only one psychiatrist, and it was never bad enough for me that they didnt share my beliefs that I would end therapy all together in this particular instance. I was willing to challange ideas and be challenged about my ideas, and if it was too much I knew I could always ask to have my case transferred to another provider no matter the type of care I went to the hospital for. I could always have asked to transfer my case to another provider at any time. Week after week I would make my way to therapy

unhelpful, unresponsive, and utterly infuriating to be a patient here. I was transfered back and forth 8 times in a hour because no one would stop talking for longer than a second to hear me. repeatedly I have called and been met with a dial tone or hung up on after 3 rings. If you are getting medication from them, do not trust you'll be able to contact someone if there is an issue. I ran out of meds and I haven't been able to talk to anyone for 2 weeks! "nurses" (customer service agents) know absolutely nothing about the process or who is working there, I have been told on multiple occasions that the doctor I have had several face to face meetings with doesn't work there, and when I tried to explain what was going on no one listened they just kept blaming me for my med withdrawal because
