Bend Family Dentistry - Colorado Ave.

The office is very comfortable and staff all very professional. I have never had a fear of having dental work performed, so comfort level not a concern. My issue is the cost of their services. They charged me nearly double what I'm used to paying for a crown. Fine if you have good dental insurance, but I do not. And they refused to offer a payment plan.

I recently visited this dentist and had an extremely uncomfortable experience. From the moment the appointment began, I felt talked down to and even belittled. At one point, I was told he would “teach me the way he would an 8-year-old,” and he lectured me in a way that felt harsh rather than helpful. He also questioned how I care for my toddler’s teeth, despite never having seen my child, which felt completely inappropriate. I was told I needed multiple fillings and significant treatment, and the whole interaction left me feeling uneasy. Because of how I was treated, I went elsewhere for a second opinion. The new dentist confirmed I have only one broken filling with a very small cavity nearby, nothing like what I was originally told. The difference in both attitude and treatment recommend

I had a challenging appointment, but they came through with flying colors. No swelling, no bruising, and very little pain. Great, skilled doctor and staff. On time appointments. The work with my insurance. They were even kind when I had some scheduling issues. I haven't felt like they were trying to upsell me on things or do unnecessary procedures or suggest expensive procedures that I may not need, which was a nice change. All in all, a great experience.

Thank you! I appreciate the honesty and professionalism. Too many other dentists always upsell on minor fillings and other nonessential items. At Bend Family Dentistry they made me aware of my potential problems and advised we watch to see if they get worse. I really appreciate it: not upselling me on minor things. Bailey did an excellent job cleaning my teeth, she’s the best.

Amazing Doctor and Staff !!! Especially the hygienist Bayli (that numbed me up) was amazing!!! Kishelle the assistant was exceptional! Doctor Holtman explained the procedure very clearly!!
