My experience has been very bad. I came to this optical store out of necessity. I was already embarrassed and upset because I was forced to make glasses with them; otherwise, I couldn't take the eye exam. They informed me that my glasses would be ready in 7 days, but they never mentioned that it would be 7 business days. Later, they told me they would place an urgent order, but it still hasn't arrived. I am about to travel and still have no idea when it will arrive. Besides being much more expensive than in other places, I was forced to buy from them, and my product hasn't arrived. My mom paid for an eye exam, and they refused to give her the prescription unless she bought their overpriced glasses. That’s illegal. When I called to tell them they have to release it by law, they argued and refused for days. Eventually they refunded her, but still never gave her the prescription. This place is shady, dishonest, and takes advantage of people. Don’t waste your time or money here. To the Brazilians reading this: please know there is a law that protects your medical rights. You are entitled to your eye prescription after an exam—no one can withhold it. This law exists for a reason, and businesses like this are required to follow it. Visiting the eye doctor was always discomforting for me. Something about the process made me anxious and I avoided it at all costs for a good part of my life. This changed when I came to Braz Optical. A friend of mine had highly recommended them to me and I decided to give them a try. To my surprise, I had an awesome experience.
