Brookville Pharmacy and Wellness Center

Abusive, inhumane staff. AVOID. I went here to pick up a prescription. The pharmacy clerk (middle-aged woman) ignored me when I spoke to her and only assisted me after several moments had passed. It seemed like she would rather do anything else than her job. After entering my information into the system, she refused to dispense my prescription and said that my doctor had sent the wrong information to the pharmacy. I tried to log in to my doctor’s portal to verify what had been sent, but the pharmacy clerk dismissed me; she told me to step aside so she could serve other customers. I thought that was extremely rude and said so. She responded, “Whatever. I don’t have time for this.” She continued to mutter things about me under her breath until I left. This pharmacy is incredible. They are so kind and caring. They treat you like family and they always seem to find a way to get what you need or keep you closely updated on what they are doing to help you. I cannot say enough good things about Brookville pharmacy.

Agree with other reviews about both the clerks and the pharmacists. The clerks are rude and abusive and seem to resent having to wait on customers. Very unprofessional and unresponsive. The pharmacists are great, very knowledgeable and helpful but not sure that outweighs how horrible the clerk treats the customers. Also, the door had no accessibility option and is extremely difficult and heavy to open, so if I have to go there I have to wait for someone else who is going in or out to come by. Overall I don’t use them for my daily prescriptions, only when I have a one off that I need filled right away.

This pharmacy has been my lifeline for over 15 years - always reliable, compassionate, and willing to go the extra mile. I’ve trusted Brookville for over 15 years and they’ve never let me down. As a disabled person, I can’t pick up my prescriptions in person anymore so their affordable delivery has been a lifesaver. Also during the five years I cared for my mother through her metastatic lung cancer and hospice, they made sure she always had her medications on time. They are knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly go above and beyond. I’m deeply grateful for their service.

Fairly bad experience. This store is a mess with respect to inventory as any customer will be able to observe the disorganized nature of items on the floor and chaotic vibe of the store in general. Even more unfortunately, this mode translates into the pharmacy - I attempted to fill a basic prescription and instead, waited 45 minutes for the staff to fill a different dosage amount which of course was not covered by insurance (because it isn't what the doctor prescribed). Rather than tell me upfront, they waited until it came time to pay. The staff was unapologetic and worse, the order as that which had been prescribed by the doctor. This store is unfortunately well located (walking distance) for a number of senior citizen communities - it is worrisome that the staff attempted to tell m
