Mrs. G., the phlebotomy instructor at Call Regional in Pittsburgh, was absolutely amazing. She was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and supportive throughout the entire program. Because the class was accelerated, many students—including myself—were unsure at the beginning if we would succeed, but Mrs. G. was very reassuring and motivating. She made everything come together and ensured that every student understood both the material and the hands-on skills. One of the biggest highlights of the program was the in-class externship and lab facility. Not having to wait weeks or even months to be placed at a clinic or hospital made a huge difference and allowed us to gain real experience right away. I had a great experience in the Phlebotomy Program at CALRegional in Pittsburg, CA. The program was well organized and gave me the hands-on practice I needed to feel more confident with blood draws and patient care. Our instructor, Mrs. G, was very knowledgeable, patient, and supportive. She explained everything clearly and always made sure we understood the procedures. She inspired and guided us to become the best Phlebotomists we can be. Overall, it was a positive learning experience, and I’m thankful for the solid training and guidance I received.

My experience in CalRegional's phlebotomy technician program has been very enriching and thorough. Ms. Kathy The'son has been a great teacher who has supported us in everything we have learned! I really appreciate the way that she emphasizes attention to detail and following protocol while still making the class fun. I am currently in my third week of Phlebotomy Technician school in Pittsburg CA. MY Instructor is Kathy The'Sun not only is she smart and sweet, she is very knowledgeable. I have anxiety when it comes test and she actually makes me feel calm. I love it so far and happy I choose this program. Good luck everyone!!
