For 12 years, I suffered terrible back pain. Most doctors I went to see, only wanted to medicate me and that was not an option for me. As a last ditch effort, I found this practice and Dr. Tareen immediately scheduled an MRI and CT Scan. My L5-S1 needed to be fused. Dr. Tareen gave me a couple options just in case I did not want surgery. I needed my quality of life back and I decided to have the surgery. My surgery was scheduled and when I tell you, I have never felt better. It feels so good, to be able to walk and not have ANY pain! Dr. Tareen is an amazing doctor and this practice is great to have him. I would also like to shout out Luis, one of the front office assistants. He has a great personality and is always smiling. I have say this has all moved pretty smoothly. I met Dr Jossin back when he was in the McLean office but I was working and just couldn't take the time off to do this type of operation. Well I guess things are way different today. I could have done it now because it has been pretty nice so far. With the front office they all been so darn nice to Reston hospital. Plus Dr Jossin wish I could sit down and talk to him for a while. He is just an easy guy to talk to. Maybe we can talk over a cup of coffee. It will be said once I get my left hand done. That will be the end.

Overall a great experience. The staff were all friendly and tried to put you at ease. My hand looks much better two weeks later and I noticed the occasional numbness I was having was completely gone after the surgery. So much so I am looking forward to doing my left hand. This was such an easy procedure. I had it on a Thursday, took my last Tylenol Arthritis (stronger) Friday night. It wore off Saturday around noon and I was fine after that. Getting the stitches out was easy, but I was more ready to get out of the brace being it was my right hand. I left the wound covered until Friday and it’s been healing well. PT gave me exercises to do, which I have been working on and was told I probably won’t need the last two appointments.

After a long weekend of pain, they were able to get me an appointment first thing Monday morning! I am extremely impressed with their care and thorough treatment! Their facility is even equipped with x-ray imaging! Strongly recommend!

Dr. Knight was very kind and professional. Very easy to talk with and demonstrated outstanding bed side manner. Closely listened and responded to all my concerns with empathy and understanding. I felt very comfortable and reassured about my treatment plan :). All my questions were addressed
