CareOne at Lexington

I was a patient at the CareOne facility in Lexington for a little more than three months while recuperating from a broken ankle in one leg and a serious infection in the other leg. My overall opinion of the treatment I received was excellent. The nursing staff provided outstanding care seven days a week. Experts from other local hospitals would visit when a second opinion or another level of expertise was required. The therapy department at CareOne in Lexington has a well-deserved reputation for effective treatment and results. Both the physical and occupational therapists excelled at setting goals for me and working diligently to help me achieve them. The food was surprisingly good. My mother was in the Munroe Unit for nearly 8 years with Alzheimer’s. The staff was absolutely amazing. She had pretty much the same caregivers during that entire time and they treated her with dignity and kindness. I visited regularly, unannounced and mom was always clean, dressed and in the activity room with other residents. At the end of her life the staff was extraordinary. They work very hard, always with a smile and I will be forever grateful for the comfort and kindness they showed my mother.

I was an inpatient at CareOne Lexington for a little more than a week. After a broken pelvis (awful). The team on The Revere unit were all amazing. Jodi, Unit Secretary, at the front desk has the whole team organized. She’s incredibly responsive. Helga, RN has a caring and gentle way about her. She also is very very respectful to everyone within the unit. Please clone both of them — big smile.

I was recently admitted to your facility for PT. I want to write to express my gratitude for SOS in the Hancock Unit. SOS treated me with nothing but respect and dignity. He went WAY out of his way to make my stay comfortable and stress free. Not only did he do that for me, I saw him do it for every patient he encountered. We need more SOS’s in the world. I hope you realize what an amazing employee you have. I hope recognize him and award him for all the good brings to your facility.

My brother John has been a resident at Care one in Lexington for 10 years. My family and I are very appreciative of all of the staff’s hard work and dedication to making the residents feel safe and comfortable.
