Doctor Swiber is all about the money. Drug testing everyone even if they are not on prescribed narcotics is not necessary. Was going for steroid injections and they want to comtinue to drug test me for some stupid reason. Did a drug test before they would even see me which was fine but then they want to continue to test for what reason? This cost me and the insurance money that is not necessary! This is just another reason for them to make money and cause insurance to be higher. Go to Dr Cambell in Morehead if you want a personable pain Dr that listens to you and cuts out the unnecessary cost.

I have been seeing Dr. Swiber since before he even opened his own clinics. This would be when he was active duty and still working at the Naval Hospital on Lejeune. In all that time, Dr. Swiber and his team have been nothing but professional and go out of their way to get to the root of the problem. Dr Swiber and his team take the person as a whole into consideration when developing a treatment plan. I absolutely love that they do not push narcotics as a go to first treatment, starting off with the non narcotics, procedures, and working their way up from there. I would not dream of going anywhere else to get treatment as long as the practice is open.

I'm what one would call a frequent flyer here, and I must say, ALL the staff are the absolute BEST! Dr. Swiber is a gem, and I'm so grateful to have such an amazingly talented, empathetic, exceptional physician so close to home. They truly welcome me and make me feel at home. I always look forward to my never blocks as they best help me manage my pain, but I also look forward to seeing everyone and hearing how they're doing! Pain clinics are run differently than most, so just understand that the intake process takes time, you'll have regular office visits and med checks and that's completely normal and to be expected, as every other pain clinic I've been to does the same! HIGHLY recommend!!

I moved here last July and was a regular at my previous pain clinic, so I was very worried about finding someone who not only I trusted, but also understood my situation and my unique needs. I have been a patient with Dr. Swiber and Jason for about a year now and I must say, I didn't anticipate finding an anesthesiologist not only so close to home, but also with an incredible team who makes me feel like I'm their one and only patient! Dr. Swiber is a true blessing! He is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of pain management, and is always willing to listen and try different things to help manage your pain. It can be so hard for patients with chronic, life altering pain to find a caregiver who actually cares about their patients, but that’s exactly how Dr. Swiber makes you feel. When my pain management doctor in Wilmington moved away, I was so scared that I would never find a doctor to help me like he did. Before he left he made sure that I was set up with Dr. Swiber, and I’m so thankful that he did! I’m coming up on two years being in the Cedar Point office and hopefully will never have to go anywhere else.
