Charlotte Hungerford Outpatient

My daughter was brought in with a very high temperature, sore throat, and possible sinus infection. We recieved prompt care, with a friendly smile from the first nurse we saw in triage. As well as great care from all of the nurses and Doctor's on duty. My daughter was in the ER hallway on a stretcher for most of her visit, because the ER was so busy. They ruled out anything that could be immediately life threatening. She was hydrated there, and given medication to help her remain hydrated after we were released. **We had to return two days later for other symptoms that worsened. We received great treatment that day as well. She cleared up over time, and is doing well now. I'd reccomend the ER walk in, as well as the Urgent Care facility on East Main Street, Torrington.

Since CHH has a mutual respect rule in place for patients, the check-in nurses should follow suit. The pulmonary person and the OBGYN person were very rude.

Amy is absolutely fabulous! She explained all the tests I was getting thoroughly, and made the experience of getting my blood drawn positive and fun! Thank you Amy for all you do!!!!

Once again disappointed by Charlotte...website says one thing and yet actual service hours are different...once again not about helping patients...I regret every encounter with this place. Should have just driven to Waterbury or Yale for medical help....torrington is a wasteland of desperation if you need real medical care. Website and staff not helpful.
