I am very disappointed with the level of care and coordination at this location. We have repeatedly tried to get a simple referral submitted for medically necessary knee treatment, and the primary care provider has refused to submit it without any valid explanation. This treatment was previously approved by the insurance plan, and the patient’s condition has clearly worsened. The refusal to submit the referral has caused unnecessary pain, delays in care, and a serious decline in quality of life. Instead of helping a patient in obvious need, the office has made the situation more difficult and stressful. Communication has also been poor. Both of my parents are Chen medical centers patients. However, this is the center of choice for only one due to location. With that being said, phoned in prescriptions to be delivered earlier this week. Never delivered. My sister had to end up going to pick up. Only to find one missing. Called that in and explained the error. Requested delivery again due to no one being able to pick up. NOTHING AGAIN. my mother is elderly and needs her meds. Nothing. Just hung up with a care rep who suggested pick up. We live in separate locations and I don't get off until after 6pm. This is concerning because my father NEVER EXPERIENCES this at his center. Delivery is always within 24hrs. Poor service. Sorry.
