CHI Saint Joseph Medical Group - Orthopedics & Podiatry, Mount Sterling

Sat in the waiting room for over an hour and a half past my appointment without a word from anyone. I had to go to the receptionist at the one-hour mark and was told I was next. 30 minutes and three patients later, I was still sitting there. As a former doctor's office appointment setter, I know the signs of double and triple bookings. Doctors who care about their patients don't do this on the regular. Then again, this is par for the course for the Saint Joseph system. Worth it to make every effort to get to Winchester or Lexington.

Worst first experience. Appointment was scheduled for 9 am, i arrived early as i was asked (10 minutes early, at 8:50) i have been told “youre next” for the last hour and a half. It is now 11:30 am and i still have yet to be seen. Got here when the employees were sipping their starbucks for breakfast and theyve left for lunch before i have been taken back. Insane.

The doctors are absolutely wonderful, I refuse to go anywhere else. I personally have seen most of the providers that are on staff and send my friends and family there also.

I don't like leaving 1 star reviews, but I do not recommend this place. I had to go here a couple of times for injured wrists. And the wait times are absolutely insane. I'd have appointments at 11AM and wouldn't get seen until 1 or 2PM. It was ridiculous. And than I'd only be seen for about 30 minutes when I'd get a cast on or removed after the 6 weeks were up. I will say the nurses and PA are really nice though. However I'd recommend Dr Grau instead his office has better wait times and will see you longer.
