CHI St. Vincent Sherwood Rehabilitation Hospital - a partner of Encompass Health

Sherwood St. Vincent / Encompass Rehabilitation is the best! They rehabilitated my father after having a major stroke. They rehabilitated my mother twice, once after a craniotomy due to a severe brain bleed, then four months later they accepted my mother with dementia and aphasia when no one else would to get her back on her feet after a hospital in Heber Springs neglected and almost killed her due to a UTI. All three times my parents left able to walk with a walker, my mom without a walker with assistance. All staff is pleasant to work with and care about your concerns.

I've had some very terrible experiences at other facilities and I wanted to find a good place this time. I had about 2 weeks that I could work hard and be able to walk and get things straight down so I could go home. This place did it they had good very good care they had very good people who were knowledgeable.when I reported a problem about my housekeeping in my room The CEO had come by to check on things and see if he could help with anything and after that getting help he decided that he would stop by and see if everything was okay and he did that for 4 days. That's hard to believe that a CEO of the hospital would take out the time to come and visit his patient. But they're that nice and that one-on-one with you at this hospital. I would go here again if I needed this kind of help.

This facility I would highly recommend. They were all very polite, informative, caring staff and doctors. Their care for my husband was exceptional. I feel they went over and beyond their positions to make sure my husband was comfortable and clean. I was very pleased with the 21 day stay. Should my husband or myself in years to come has to have Rehabilitation, this is where it will be done. I was just that pleased with the professionalism and staff. May God pour out the Blessings to each and everyone of their employees 🙏

My stay at CHI St. Vincent was exceptional. The staff was caring and very supportive and the therapist helped with just what I needed regarding leg strength and independence which was an A plus.
