Chippenham Pediatric ER

They are incredibly slow, I mean its awful. I brought my son here for treatment and I had to continuously walk up to the Nurses station and ask what's going on?! After awhile I had to call my Dad to relieve me and we basically took turns relieving each other waiting for my son to finally be seen and discharged. Not to mention, all of the Nurses were rude, and gave negative energy as if they did not care. I wouldn't recommend this ER.

Not sure why the bad reviews! I just took my 7 month old in and the entire experience was great, everyone was amazing, they saw us quick, no wait time. Hopefully I don’t need to come back but if I do, I know my kids will be in good hands.

It’s laughable that this place is considered an emergency room since you walk in and no one is there to check you in for 30 plus minutes and then when you ask someone what’s going on you’re met with attitude. Don’t bring you babies here please !!!!

I arrived at 630pm and waited until 830pm to get triaged with my 6 month infant who was vomiting, coughing, having trouble breathing and an elevated temperature-- it took another hour to be seen...(apparently there was an error with what room number we were assigned)...only to be told there was nothing visibly wrong with him, but they would run a flu, RSV and COVID test and give him anti nausea medication. It took an hour after that for a nurse to even come back. I finally requested to be discharged because they still didn't have lab results by 1030pm. Secondly the bathroom was filthy. It was like a public bathroom at a mall. When janitorial services came around to collect garbage and linens they were not wearing any gloves, and touching high traffic surfaces with their bare hands afterwa

Very disappointed today this has been my hospital for years but today was different nurses and doctors Very nice but my 5 years old cried for like 30 minutes straight nobody would do anything he had a really bad ear ache until I spoke to someone the doctor came she said it will give him pain killer 45 minutes went by and nothing happened untill they ran my insurance card, for me it looked like they won't do anything until they make sure they getting paid
