CityMD Fordham Urgent Care - Bronx

The experience is not mine but my wife's. After visiting on quite a few occasions, she's lamented about the cleanliness of the facility even the restrooms, the professionalism and courteousness of the staff at every level, loves the decor plus the display of artwork from the youngest clients, knowing how hard it is to gain her confidence or respect, this place has to be everything she says it is. Highly recommend. 😃😃😃

The office atmosphere is pleasant as well as the staff that works there. I didn’t have a long wait and the nurse assistant was nice to talk too. The doctor answered all my questions and prescribed what he thought I should have and he was very cordial. I was told there is a pharmacy right around the corner making it convenient to pick up my prescription right away while in the area. I would highly recommend coming to this office for urgent care instead of hours waiting in the hospital emergency room.

Was over charged a Copay multiple times, even though it clearly states my copay amount on my insurance card. Brought this up to the manager at the time and who responded back with an attitude and told me to call customer service if I had a problem. Extremely unprofessional. I ended up calling customer service and I had credits pending from last year that they were never planning on refunding me or using towards my current copay. As someone who works in the medical field myself, this is unexceptable. I hope they aren't overcharging everyone that walks in because of "their policy"

Worst Experience Ever! This has to be the WORST CITYMD location in the BRONX. I went there because i felt Dizzy and im Pregnant, i asked the supervisor (young) lady lf they can check my Blood Pressure, She States" we cant do that, you will have to wait until you are seen" , waited 2 hours to see a Doctor, they put patients inside the exam room and totally forgets who is next to be seen. Staff is not Properly Medically Trained to work at a clinic. Staff act very Unprofessional and dont know what they are doing. i had to do a Complaint to Corporate in regards of this Terrible Experience. Supervisor then goes outside to play around and stink fountain soda, when there are multiple patients to be seen by doctor! if i can give this site a Zero Star, will Do! waited 2 hours to see a doctor at

My 1st time here and I can't say enough. The place was clean, sanitized and organized. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was out in less than an hour. The doctor was extremely kind and patient when if forgotten the name of my medicines. I never felt rushed or like they just wanted to hurry up and get me out the door. The staff was very kind, patient and friendly. I been going to Jacobi medical center for years and they could never get my asthma medicine just right because my insurance no longer covers my advair so they been trying to find a suitable substitute to get my asthma under control. I walk into this rapid clinic just once and I come out with the RIGHT MEDICATION I needed to get my asthma under control. Thank You CityMD I just wish they had permanent doctors for those who
