Cohen Children's Northwell Health General Pediatrics at North Babylon

I normally don’t like leaving negative reviews, but given how poorly rated this practice already is—and based on my latest experience—I feel it’s only fair to share my own. I’ve had my daughter established here since she was born. Fortunately, she’s been a healthy child, so we mainly came in for her annual checkups. Even after moving to Queens, I chose not to switch pediatricians because we had been content with the care—until now. My reason for this review is the complete lack of empathy shown by the office staff and manager. We live in Queens, and traffic unexpectedly delayed us for two hours, making us 17 minutes late. This office is god awful. They screw up. Never have availability. Forget to call in scripts for my babies…. Have dropped the ball so many times for my kids. And are incredibly rude. Will never take my kids here again.

I’m editing this review. It wasn’t originally 1 star, but my personal experience here has been horrible. I’m a nurse, I would not recommend this practice. Hopefully not every patient and or parent has the same experience that I did. Switching pediatricians sadly. My daughter’s formula is covered by insurance, but due to the negligence of this office and its staff, over a month has gone by and I am still unable to get it for my daughter. If I wrote everything that has gone wrong this would be a very long review.

Jennice Velazquez answered the phone and was giving me a horrible attitude, I understand at the end of the day you get tired of answering the phone but it’s your job hello? Then her coworkers were laughing in the background praising how rude and unprofessional she was being. Absolutely hate that, this place never hires kind people lol!! Always has horrible employees.

The Doctors are amazing! It’s the front desk staff that has to be replaced. Horrible & so rude. Not helpful at all. I almost always have an issue with something!!!
