Concord Care Center of Hartford

Our fault for not reading reviews before sending my grandmother here, but please believe the other negative reviews given to this facility. Not everyone here is bad, I will say. But, unfortunately there is enough bad to outweigh the good. Telling an elder that her disability is not true and to do things she cannot do on her own is never okay. If you do not have compassion, do not work in a nursing/rehabilitation facility please. Truly not sure how the place is up and running.

I like that Concord care is located in a beautiful rural setting away from the hustle and bustle. I have witnessed staff function as a team to deliver quality, skilled nursing care to the residents with compassion and respect. There are some agency employees but the core staff and DON work together to make sure everyone is on the same page. The Administrstor is compassionate and concerned with the welfare and quality of life of each and every resident and works with the families to make the transition to long term care as easy and comfortable as possible. The residents receive skilled therapy services as needed from the on-site therapy providers which they seem to really enjoy. They have an activities department who keeps the residents occupied, entertained and informed of current events.

Only pleasant experience my family had with these people was with the social worker. She is great. But other than that don’t send your loved ones here

This facility has a lot of new faces, however all the new faces are Happy and they’re here for your loved ones. Staff is supportive and understands of how hard it is to place your love ones in a nursing facility. This facility makes a home for your loved ones. Facility also has a great activity department and offers Therapy for your loved ones as well. Concord of Hartford has a beautiful pavilion for residents to go outside and enjoy the view. It is located in a peaceful area. Want a loving place for your family member bring your loved ones here!!!

The staff is kind, compassionate, and hard working. Residents are well cared for and their needs are met. The activities department ensure that our residents have something fun to do throughout the day. Our therapy and nursing team is dedicated to providing individualized care.
