Concord Hospital Family Health Center

I was a patient with them through their ob clinic. When my medication ran out for the year, I called to get a renewal on my prescription and was told it was put in right away with “high priority.” They failed to tell me that the renewal request was halted because I “wasn’t a primary care patient with the Family Health Center,” even though I’m a patient through the ob clinic. Called and was told they don’t know where my renewal request is and what’s going to happen. Went in and was told a nurse would call me - which never happened. Finally came in today and was told by a nurse that they won’t renew my prescriptions anymore and that I have to go to my PCP for this. I've been waiting all afternoon at work for a phone call or a text saying i can go get an antibiotic from you guys. I've got absast tooth sitting in my mouth that started yesterday I'm not in agony or asking for a pain killer just an antibiotic to get rid of it. You guys did this to my husband as well before he had all his teeth removed and you had him wait until the last minute and wond up in the ER for antibiotics threw an iv . How hard it is it to understand that that's all I needed but here we sit playing phone tag again for an answer. I absolutely adore the nurses there and some docs but why wait until the last minute?. I work for walgreens and we are in our busy time of the year I can't miss out on working. Some one please explain why like im an idiot and don't understand why there

Not accepting new patients. The website and insurance said they were accepting new patients. I went through an entire intake process and multiple phone transfers to become a new patient and they didn't tell me until the very end that they can't even take me. No apologies, and just rudely said "yeah the website is wrong." I'm just incredibly frustrated because I already gave up my other PCP (which took me 9 months to get in the first place) because this place said they were accepting new patients when they weren't. No idea how the doctors and nurses are but office staff and admin isn't doing it for me.

Busted my right knee and I can hardly walk, tons of swelling and pain. Good thing they got me an appointment 6 months from now 😂. I understand there’s staff shortages, so it sucks I can’t get the care I need. But the staff is really nice, and I’m sure they’re doing their best. God damn job market.

Dr. Dominic efkin is one of the best doctors I've ever met in my life. He goes above and beyond and anyone who says otherwise is probably drug seeking
