Consuelo's Place Emergency Homeless Shelter

Compassionate staff, great location, meeting the living needs of food, shelter, and services to some of our most vulnerable population in Santa Fe.

Consuela's Midtown Place is poorly managed, marked by misallocated state funding and broken promises to clients. This organization operates ruthlessly, often lying about the services it provides. Management changes every two to three years, leading to instability and a lack of accountability. I was promised I could stay until receiving my permanent housing voucher, but instead faced threats from staff when I sought answers. Now, I find myself homeless on the streets of Santa Fe, abandoned by a system that failed to uphold its commitments and protect vulnerable individuals in need of support.Not even worth one star you people should be ashamed of your actions.

This is a wonderful place! Where you're treated with Dignity. It is a true Sanctuary for families and individuals who are willing to do their part. It is a Safe Place.
