Corewell Health Grand Rapids Hospitals Laboratory - 1000 East Paris Ave SE

Had to get lab work done here and I had awesome experience because of my tech Angelina. Currently having issues with panic attacks and doing this lab work was a big trigger for me. Angelina not only did a great job creating a calm and stress free environment, she drew my blood and ran my labs faster than I could have even comprehended! She was incredibly personable and sweet, something I appreciated very much during this tough time for me!

Sarah is an angel! I’m the worst patient for blood draws - I have to lay down and I have vomited/fainted on numerous occasions. Sarah made this quick and easy where I barely felt a thing. I felt totally fine afterwards! This will be my go-to lab from now on!!

Worst experience ever. Katherine F was the lab assistant she was unfriendly and would not converse with me. I ask her how her day was going and she just gave me a bad look. She jabbed me in the arm for blood withdrawal and for the first time ever it Hurt! She removed the rubberband from my arm and then said Whoops I have to do this again I forgot ONE!!! The second time the jab hurt, and this time I have a bruise. I have not experienced a bruise in the vein area before this encounter. I believe she needs retraining.

We were there 20 minutes before 11 last Saturday to find the door locked and they are telling us that they don't accept anyone more. (there was older lady before us that they turned back as well) IMHO, this behavior should not be tolerated of any business, especially one involved in health care.

Very clean and well run during this crazy time. We were in-and-out quickly. The only suggestions I would have is making sure the staff tell people when to expect the results, because we had to ask. The other thing is so better signage outdoors would be helpful because it's a large building and we didn't know which entrance to go to.
