Costco Pharmacy

To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally express my deep concern regarding a distressing experience I had today at the Costco pharmacy located in Pompano Beach, Florida. As a long-term patient prescribed ADHD medication for over 14 years, I am well aware of the challenges surrounding current supply shortages. Prior to relocating to Florida five years ago, I had never encountered such issues. While I understand that frequent changes in pharmacy location may raise concerns, the current climate leaves patients with limited options. I have successfully filled prescriptions at this location in the past and, given my upcoming work-related travel, I contacted the pharmacy early this morning to inquire about medication availability. Costco pharmacy itself is ok, a 8/10. The representative I dealt with both dropping off and picking up (same person) was the worst, I had to tie my tongue to restrain myself from arguing with her. Customer service was the worst! That rep needs to work in the back and not where she has to deal with customers. Not referring to the out of the box colored hair rep that's always there, she is ok. Overall, though, I would not give them 5 stars.

In the past few years, we've been buying virtually completely at Costco and getting our medications there as well. We used to shop at Publix and Walmart for our prescriptions . The last time I went to get my refill, they always gave me the excuse that she was by herself and could not refill, so I should come back in another half hour. This was the third time I had gone to get my medications. Sometimes they give you information, but most of the time we don't get any from them, so I had to drive three times on different days. Finally, on the final day, I told them I was leaving for the airport in two hours and had to come back again for another half hour. When we get back from our trip, we'll probably switch to a new pharmacy. Also there is a lady on the afternoon, she's not pleasent at all.

Efficient. Pharmacists are available to answer questions.

By far the nicest pharmacy team I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. A+ customer service and will never make you feel like a number like CVS or Walgreens does. Wish I transferred my care here sooner.
