Costco Pharmacy

Not as good as they have a reputation for. Not that helpful or good at line control. Medications are often "out of stock", and that could partly be the times, but their pharmacists imply that your best option for getting it filled consistently is to take it someplace else. They have filled at least one of our prescriptions with a generic brand without checking first, and frequently overlook applying the membership discount to medications you have to pay for outside of insurance. One time my family member had a negative side affect from a medication and the doctor said it was important to report it to the prescribing pharmacy and the pharmacist literally shrugged and said they weren't responsible to report it to anyone. The policies here are very different than other Costco pharmacies that I use it and because of that I paid almost double the price of my regular prescription. The staff was nice enough but each Costco pharmacy sets their own rules.

Always have prescriptions ready, and the staff is always pleasant and ready to help. I am a fairly new convert to CostcoPharmacy. I never knew getting prescriptions filled could be so easy. I should have switched long ago!

This is the slowest food court of all the Costcos in California.
