The people that work here are kind, funny, efficient and accommodating. If I leave a voicemail with a question I get called back right away, super timely with prescriptions and dealing with insurance crap. Having been to pharmacies all across the Chicagoland area for the last 20 years, this place was so pleasant and helpful that I’m writing Google review for a CVS right now. Medications, costs, insurance, etc. is the worst and I greatly appreciate that every tech & pharmacist I’ve interacted with here has made it not suck. Peaceful even.
My husband and I first used CVS in Third Lake many years ago and both had bad experiences with the Pharmacy. I have been going there for the last 2 years due to an insurance change. What a difference! The Pharmacy staff are always helpful, pleasant, kind, and responsive. And, I know that they are short staffed (all pharmacies are) but still try to remain pleasant and helpful in stressful situations. The store staff has changed for the better as well. I'm pleased that corporate took customer criticism to heart and made tangible improvements. Now, if CVS could fix their app! They will be great. I know that's a tougher fix since it involves technology.
We've been going here *unfortunately* for years. I have never waited less than 10 minutes in the drive through line. This includes when I'm the only car there. With a car or two in front of you, block 30-45 minutes. Takes FOREVER. If you have to pick up a prescription, you might want to mark it in your calendar or take an extra hour for lunch.
The pharmacy tech was beyond rude. I called regarding a prescription to be filled because the medicine has been unavailable all over my area and she was scoffing and had a rude attitude as she was speaking to me. She also hung up the phone while I was mid sentence. Will definitely be avoiding this pharmacy if I can help it.
Pharmacy team members did not have good customer service. Coming from being an experienced pharmacy technician, I expected better. It was already off to me they made me go inside when I was already in the drive thru, with negative degree weather. Most things done inside can be done in drive thru, that is what the drive thru is for. Making me wait an hour when i was informed that it would be done in 15-20 minutes when it was more than possible to get it done when I just heard them gossip in the back, while they know I was waiting for my script. Leyla the tech there was not helpful with helping me bill my discount cards, and didnt give me a proper reason why one couldnt go through and the other did. She was not reaching out to anyone else with more information when I know she didnt have all
