We (myself, wife, and two children) have been a patient at Darien Eye Socialists for nearly three-decades and we never had a negative experience. We love this place. I retired in 2022 and after a gap of nearly 4 years, I went back to this place today (10/02/2025) and had a very pleasant visit. The front desk staff (Kate, I think this is her name) is very professional and courteous. Dr. Varghees is very thorough, kind, and provided her full attention. She took her time with the check-up and explained everything clearly. She is not only knowledgeable but also a great listener. I felt that I was very well cared for. I have been a patient here for three years, and I’ve never had a single negative experience with either the clinic or the doctor. The front desk lady is always wonderful, and the doctor is equally amazing. Today, they managed to fit me in at the last minute, which really shows how much they care about their patients rather than just focusing on money. The doctor was incredibly communicative and knowledgeable. She not only asked me thoughtful questions about my vision, but she also took the time to answer all of my concerns thoroughly and made sure I understood her responses well. Staff is very kind and professional. Dr. Varghese is great. She is very professional and thorough. Darien eye specialist makes you feel welcome when you walk thru the doors and they take good care of you while you are there.

Thank you for fitting me into your schedule right away as Dr. Varghese was able to detect a potential retinal tear after multiple images. She was able to make an emergency appointment for me at Rush where a tear was confirmed and treated the same day. I’m very grateful that she was so thorough and assisted me with a sense of urgency.
