Delmar Gardens of O'Fallon

Absolutely awful experience. ***DO NOT BRING PARKINSONS PATIENTS HERE! There is no care in healthcare at this facility. Administering medication on time is the most important thing with a condition like parkinsons. I was told they only operate on a FLEX med schedule. I explained the importance of timing for patients likje this and the difficulties their schedule was causing my loved one, they showed no assistance in the matter ensuring me that they don't make exceptions. Also, the staff was short with my loved one as well as us as the family. In 13 years of battling parkinsons it was the first time (and since) that my loved one signed a DNR because of how bad they were doing in that facility. We ran and got back on track somewhere else. ***BEST EXPERIENCE EVER AT: Rehabilitation Institute

This is not your typical review, at the festivities last night I somehow lost my keys and I was so upset about it. The key ring has a picture of my deceased mother, my daughter took me back to look for my keys where we were sitting with no success. The staff members that helped locate my keys were so very kind and patience . I don't remember anyone's name , but I do remember the first staff member I encountered because she said she was admin. assistant. Please let them know I'm forever grateful for their help. Turns out I left the on one of the bus and Kenny the bus driver found the keys.

The furniture in my mother in law’s room. Dresser drawers will not stay closed. Stained table top. Laminate chipping off the corners of bed frame and dresser. They say there is a beauty shop but good luck getting an appointment. I’ve been trying for 1 1/2 months to get a podiatrist to see her with no luck. I don’t have power over her affairs or she’d be gone out of here.

My mother is so young to be placed in memory care but unfortunately that's her story. We have been in and out of every place around the St.Charles area. I have been so happy with the care she has received at Delmar Gardens. The two head nurses are the best. They provide so much love and friendship for my mother. She loves being around them. Her main caregiver has quickly become her BFF. I could go on and on. She has been made to feel welcomed since arrival. I have been very happy with Delmar Gardens.

The nursing and therapy staff was the greatest. I give it 4 stars because the food really needs to improve it was tasteless. The powder eggs was the worst.
