Dental Associates of Northern Virginia - City of Falls Church

I took an elderly family member with a disability to an appointment, having booked with a specific hygienist who is skilled in working with patients with the disability, and a specific doctor who is in family member’s health plan. When we arrived for the appointment, the doctor had left early and the hygienist called in that day. We were not notified in advance. The overall experience was troublesome, particularly with the different hygienist. If this happens again, I’ll likely try to find another dentist’s office. Previously, we’ve had excellent experiences there. If you have staff preferences for any reason (insurance, etc.), ask the front desk staff to flag the file.

Gotta say, like the majority of people I’m not excited about going to the dentist, but Dr. Bateni and her team may be changing this. Went in for my first cleaning in years and to have a very old crown replaced, the cleaning was easy and the temporary crown I have now far surpasses the crown I had before (I’ve had a crown for over 50 years and it’s been replaced multiple times). The detail the hygienist went to over a temporary crown was great and it looks MUCH better than my old crown. I’ve already given their practice to people I work with. Also they just moved to a new facility and it’s really nice and convenient, you can get your teeth cleaned and then quickly go run out to a restaurant to test out the clean chompers!

Excellent staff, everyone is super friendly and helpful. My visits are always painless and quick. I never liked going to the dentist until I started here.

Dr. Desio, Thea, and everyone at this practice go above and beyond, I couldn't recommend them more. They are also extremely compassionate and kind. A good friend recommended them to me and I have always been grateful, I drive out from DC to this practice and I will continue to do it, it is 100% worth it.

Hands down the best dental experience I have had, 100% recommend! As a new patient coming from a different dentist, the team at Dental Associates of Northern Virginia provided the best care I have ever received! My hygienist was incredibly gentle and used a different type of tool for cleaning that only uses water. First time going to the dentist with zero pain. Their team is very knowledgeable and took the time to explain every step of the appointment. 10 out of 10, everyone needs to go here!
