Doctors Emergency Services Pa

This is a fraudulent service. DO NOT PAY AND CONTACT THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. EVEN IF YOU PAY THEY STILL SAY THEY SEND IT TO COLLECTIONS. SHAME ON LUMINIS. I’m writing a complaint. My insurance covers all emergency room visits and this is the first time I’ve received a bill from this company “DESPA”. Never heard of them and look at all the other reviews. I called the hospital and I have no balance.

I am not writing about the actual services, they are good. I am writing about the after service, the half brained data input geniuses that bill for services afterwards. This is the second time I have had to deal with the ER bills and the second time that the billing service that DESPA hired to process insurance claims submits a bill with no codes, no information other then "Emergency Service". My insurance company can't just write checks to satisfy the bill if they do not know what exactly it was for. While I commend the doctors, they are good. The billing afterwards leaves all the good they do in question.

This is an unethical business. They will leave you holding the bill even when you've done everything to ensure that you are covered by insurance. If you go the ER at AAMC, be sure to request not to be seen by Dr. Kenez or anyone from this practice as they will charge you even if you've been told that they are in-network.

I second George's review. This practice repeatedly screwed up approval on a workmen's compensation claim for my spouse - a federal firefighter injured / burned in the line of duty, and now they are going after us in collections due to the incompetence of their office staff. They're the lowest of the low and Anne Arundel Medical Center needs to find a new group to staff its ER

Awful business. It's been almost two years after an ER trip to AAMC that was in network and they're still trying to send me bills that my insurance has informed them are incorrect and illegal. Lost count of the times I've called them. Still can't get it resolved.
