East Columbus Close To Home Center with Urgent Care at 6435 East Broad St.

Staff don't listen to parents and don't respect requests made in the childs best interest. I had my daughter in on 12/2/25. She needed an antibiotic. My daughter will not take liquid amoxicillin. I told the provider this first she didn't believe me, second she told me that all pharmacies refuse to fill prescriptions for chewable amoxicillin. I tried over and over to explain it but they just insisted that my child can't possibly not like bubble gum. Even accused me of not knowing how to give it to her.

Always friendly and thorough experience. Welcoming environment and there’s generally little to no wait. Our favorite urgent care.

I had the worse experience with the lady at records at approximately 1:45pm today5/23/25 my baby was sick and I didn't know the urgent care opens at 3pm, she gave options to wait till 2.45 or go to other urgent care as suggested. I opted to wait but she sent me out, I felt so bad with the way she spoke to me, she couldn't even ask if it was safe to send my 13months with respiratory problem. She was very rude to me. I had to drive long way to look for another urgent care

My daughters first birthday she got the flu I took her here to have her treated worst experience of my life. The disrespect and unprofessional employee at registration was enough to turn me around and search for any other place. The employee asked me her symptoms which I quickly name off and she checks me about my tone of voice?? Like I’m not in the best place single mom two kids and she thought it was smart to start an unnecessary argument with me over top of my sick daughter then laughs at me as I turn to leave??I Do not recommend anyone who loves there children to take them to this joke of a dr office the disrespect an d unprofessionalism of the staff at this location is very appalling then a request a supervisor and I’m told she was the lead nurse And her boss ain’t in. No thank you

The wait time for this location is consistently terrible and tilt takes way too long to be seen. That’s even if you have an appointment. Currently, my daughter and I have been here for 45 minutes and still haven’t seen the doctor yet. This tends to happen at every single appointment. I wonder if the rest of the close to home centers are as bad as this one. The only reason we still come here is because it’s closest to where we live but I’m going to look into other options. This is ridiculous. It shouldn’t take 1 hour to receive a simple Depo shot.
