I walked my 12 yo dog in for exam as he had begun to froth at the mouth but less than 30 minutes later he was dead. I was told by a technician that during X-rays he had dropped a few fleas so he was sprayed with a petroleum based flea treatment despite my having notified the clinic that he would have an adverse reaction. I have six other dogs and none have fleas. I use organic essential oils to treat fleas. He went into convulsions and respiratory distress and when I was allowed into the back room he was lying on the floor and being drenched with water and wet towels. I asked why and the vet who had at that point repeatedly said he was dying advised that the water was to cool him down. Why I demanded if he was , as she said, dying. It was our first time here recently. I arrived with my pet at opening time. Waited a little while to be seen and it was completely worth it. The staff and veterinarian were very thorough and helpful. Highly Recommend!

Truly a great neighborhood vet clinic! Full of compassion and provided amazing care! Very affordable too!!! My dog had been seen at another place and mis-diagnosed for a year and costing more than $2,000. After a 5 minute exam and reviewing previous treatment records, a new plan was put in place and issues resolved. My dog is happy, the stress in my household is reduced, and my bank account wasn’t taken advantage of again!

This is a small local vet clinic, not a fast paced pet ER. We know this, and keep coming back for the compassionate care for our precious pets. Of course, we as owners bear the responsibility for the health and welfare of our pets, but we appreciate the staff here as trusted partners in that responsibility. Not miracle workers for gravely ill pets. Just trusted caring partners to help us. We come from Las Cruces for this personal approach.
