I was positively amazed by this redesigned ER (2025)... the efficiency, professional care, rooms, etc. is incomparable to the Salmon Creek Legacy ER! So if my son's frequent trips to the ER continue I will always want to drive the few extra miles here rather than spend 8 hrs waiting with a crowd of people who might have whatever horrible contageous conditions. Tgis loojed like a typical suburban ER, not an overrun clinic for the homeless or addicts. I am visiting from EU and this ER gives me hope the medical system in USA is not totally broken.

I am extremely disappointed with our experience at the Emergency Department at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver. We waited nearly four hours before being seen by a doctor while the patient’s condition was getting worse. During that time, we were repeatedly told to “just wait,” with no meaningful updates, no clear explanation of delays, and no reassurance about what was happening. After finally seeing the doctor, we were then told we would need to wait several more hours again for results, with the same lack of communication. I understand that emergency departments can be busy and that patients are prioritized based on medical urgency, but waiting for hours without clear updates, transparency, or compassion is unacceptable. If the hospital cannot effectively manage patien

Took my 4-year-old son to the St. John’s ER last night for an allergic reaction, and we were so impressed by the care we received. The front desk staff was kind, quick, and compassionate—we were brought to triage right away. Gabriel (I believe that was his name) was wonderful—he asked thoughtful questions, took vitals gently, and coordinated for us to be taken straight back to a room. Dr. Duy Nelson A. Dao came in almost immediately, carefully evaluated my son, explained everything clearly, and quickly ordered treatment. The nurses were fantastic—patient, gentle, and efficient. Mandy, in particular, was incredibly kind, took time to educate us, and kept a close eye on my son throughout. Overall, the entire team triaged us by priority and treated us with compassion and urgency. They were

Would give zero if I could. Unfortunately you HAVE to put a star in order to make a comment. Fiancé had an accident on break at work, got injured and went to this er. Was seen fairly quick which is cool, however, thats about as good as it gets. Not only did he have injuries, but the adrenaline from it all was wearing off so he was shivering. So in pain, cold and uncomfortable. The RN, Alicia, informed him he was getting an ekg. When the EKG tech came in, she noticed he was struggling to stay still because he was shivering, asked him to try his best to sit still and he said okay. The RN makes a comment telling him “I don’t know why you’re so cold.” Gee, ma’am I wonder, was it the ice or the fact that his body just went into shock?! As much as I can see where she was coming from, it wasn’t a

Very kind and efficient care givers. Clean facility. Took some time to get all my results but that’s to be expected in an ER as they triage. Dr. Dan Hubbard was very thorough and explained everything clearly. Both of my nurses were very good. I only remember one of their names. Thanks, John.
