Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Tallahassee

My Mom was in here for two weeks, and EVERYONE (except Doctors and Nurse practitioner) was wonderful. They took care of her so well, and always had a smile and great attitude. I've never been to a business where all the employees were so nice. Its also the cleanest place I've been too. Curtis in PT, was so sweet and gentle with her. I wish I could name each person, but I hope they're appreciated by their employer.

My wife spent one week at Encompass Rehabilitation Hospital in Tallahassee. We found every staff member caring and competent. Without naming any members of staff, we are both grateful for the care she received. And surprise, even the food was good. Also, a. Rey special thank you to Maria for removing my wife’s 52 staples and dressing the incisions.

My mother in law was here for 9 days and let me just say this place is absolutely awful. Do not let your loved ones go to this facility. We've had multiple issues and nobody seemed to care or want to take care of them. The first night my mother-in-law was supposed to arrive and transportation had no clue where she was or when she would get there. Charge nurse said she just got on and she knew nothing and had no way to find out.( she finally arrived to the facility at 9:00 p.m.. when she was supposed to be there by 5:00 p.m). Second day my mother went all day without any water and when I got there I had to beg somebody to please get her something to drink. The staff stated she had a drink on her breakfast tray and lunch today and that was good enough. ( remind you it was now 3:00 p.m. when

BEWARE!!! My mother has been there 9 days and NO ONE contacted me with any information or updates. Tanika is her care person and provided no updates. When I shared my concern with Tanika about the lack of communication she replied “sorry to hear you feel that way” and offered nothing more. I had to escalate the issue further. Her doctor had no idea that I was not getting any updates from anyone.

They stay at Emcompass was fair or 3-star based upon the rating system utilized by the facility. My experience with Occupational Therapy Team is specifically the reason for mediocre rating and dietary and nursing teams were above average in the service.
