Enhanced Endodontics: Briano Allen DDS, MS, Geena Addison DMD, MS, & James Sykes DMD

I went in today for a consultation. Everyone was so kind, starting with the receptionist, Victoria, the assistant, Jamie, & Dr. Allen. They were very thorough and had my best interest at the front of their minds. The office decor was pleasant and welcoming.

I was referred, by my regular dentist to Dr. Allen, to assess whether I needed a root canal. I was having fleeting pain and cold sensitivity in two of the right-side molars of my lower jaw. This was my first experience dealing with a potential root canal, so I had no idea what to expect and was nervous. The clinic staff that I had the opportunity to meet, beginning with Torri, their front desk receptionist, were all amazing to work with. They were very kind, comforting, patient and accommodating. I found the "warm comfy blankets" they offered, for use during the office visits, to be a really nice touch. After performing a detailed exam in which she applied cold and pressure to the suspect tooth, the dental tech went thru the xrays that she had taken--slowly and carefully explained everything, including what can go wrong in the root of a tooth and why a root canal is sometimes necessary. The office has the latest in x-ray equipment, including a large wall-mounted screen that displays everything in amazing resolution, including 3D exposures. It was the first time that I'd ever looked at an x-ray and actually saw, in detail, what it depicted! I'd been referred by my dentist due to a suspicious dark area on an x-ray that she had taken. I have seen Dr. Allen several times for root canals. I have had complicated dental issues and he’s been great; helping to diagnose and resolve each issue. Each time I have been treated by Dr. Allen, he has been wonderful about ensuring the process is pain free during the visit and also during recovery. His staff has done a wonderful job of accommodating my schedule when making appointments.

My experience with Dr. Allen and his team was phenomenal! This was my very first RCT Treatment and the experience exceeded my expectations. They were polite, welcoming, and reassuring. Tori & Jamie were absolutely delightful and funny! Dr. Allen himself is a cool guy, a kind gentleman with a great sense of humor! He was also very reassuring and educated me and checked on me multiple time during the treatment! I had my eyes closed the whole time, but my wonderful husband accompanied me. I walked in extremely nervous and walked out feeling EXTREMELY confident. This facility is clean, cozy, and very professional! I 10/10 recommend to anyone who’s needing to have a root canal but may not know where to go or may be nervous about the overall procedure, this is the place to go! BEST IN TALLAHASS
