Exer Urgent Care - Sherman Oaks

We had a great experience at this urgent care, though having to wait a full hour before being seen as I walked in on a Saturday afternoon. Special thanks to Joshua who was kind, professional, patient, and attentive. He took the time to communicate clearly with my child every step of the way, which really helped him feel comfortable and at ease. He also listened carefully to my billing questions and other concerns and made sure everything was explained thoroughly.

The facility is clean, well organized, the staff and doctor are friendly , courteous, knowledgeable. I liked the easy check-in process,there is an i pad looking device for patients to check-in at the counter by entering personal information then the patient will receive a text on the phone to complete the medical/health information, insurance information, and payment method, also take photos of driver's license, insurance card and upload them prior to submission, I think this is great , better than filling out the forms with pen and paper. A high tech medical clinic, highly recommend.

The first thing said to me as I checked in was that they do not prescribe narcotics but if I wanted to wait I could get an injection. I don’t appreciate being treated like a drug seeker. I waited 1 hour in agony. After I was seen I was not given any prescription for pain and I have SHINGLES. I had to wait from Saturday until Monday afternoon when I the. saw my own doctor who immediately prescribed TRAMADOL. Heartless and uncaring they are. The entire team. Never again. Don’t go there.

This place is always busy. When I walked they said 4 patients ahead of you and it will tell you 45 minutes but will take almost 2 hours to be seen. Waiting and watching about 6-7 people go ahead of me. This place is constantly under staffed but there seems to be a lot of people working. Doctor spent all of 4 minutes with me so I’m not sure why they are so slow. Doctor was very nice and threw.

Dr. B was fantastic at Exter urgent care on Riverside so was Joshua from the moment I walked in. I was greeted with care and they paid immediate attention to my problem and took care of me. The place was very clean. Everyone was very attentive and I’m very grateful to have this place just in case of problems and issues.
