I was referred to this Practice through dental emerge, and the dentist I had gotten was absolutely fantastic. She said she couldn't pull my tooth, and proceeded to find someone that would be able to safely do so and booked me a few days out. I cannot tell you how much relief the wonderful people in this office have given me. When I came to them, I had two heavily abscessed teeth that weren't responding to any antibiotic my doc would throw at it. Now that the two teeth are gone, the infection is too. The extraction was done with care, and I healed quickly from it in a few hours. Now, I don't have to live my life on Antibiotics any more. They've practically given me my life back. Dr. Turgeon is a fantastic dentist. Very professional an polite. I decided to give a 1 start because of customer service. I understand there are policies regarding appointments. If I make a mistake canceling late an appointment, I always accept the responsibility. Unfortunately the lack of customer service and rude conduct of office staff is extremely unprofessional. This time I called the office in a polite manner to apologize because my kids wouldn't be able to attend their app same day. I accepted my mistake and clarify, I understood I have to pay a fee for missing their appointment. The secretary basically asked me in a rude way : " why are you canceling right now!! We need 48 hrs notice and I left a message yesterday, so are coming?? " I was impressed for her conduct. So I just ans

I had my first dentist appointment today with Dr. Melissa O'Toole and her lovely dental assistant Chelsey. After being out of the country for almost 10 years and having only had sub-par dental work done in the third world... I was long over due. I've honestly never left a google review before but I was so blown away with the patience and kindness of Dr. O'Toole. She took into consideration the fact that I didn't have dental insurance and made me a treatment plan that was affordable as possible. I would highly recommend her to anyone but would especially suggest her if you're someone who gets anxious at the dentist because Dr. O'Toole is exceptionally calming and gentle.

I recently had to call into Family Dentistry on a Monday morning regarding what I deemed a dental emergency, as I was in lots of pain and eating was very difficult. I was told that I could see Dr Cavanagh right away. When I was examined it was determined I needed a root canal that day. I was a little worried to hear this because root canals have always been synonymous to me with torture, as that is typically what you hear. I don't often leave reviews like this but the procedure was handled so well and so quickly I just had to say something. I was eating normally again only a few hours after the procedure and by the next day I felt good as new. I was so happy to have the pain in my tooth taken away and was so impressed with the ease of treatment that I wanted to give everyone in the office

One of the ladies at the front desk needs to find a job that doesn't enable her to mistreat patients. **Update** It was disappointing to have lost such a wonderful dentist who favoured her employee for mistreating patients. My new dentist is horrible.
