Family Medicine - Mad River, UVM Health - Central Vermont Medical Center

I initially gave UVM Medical Center in Waitsfield one star due to a previous bad experience, but the doctors have changed. Dr. Jennifer Selland, MD, was amazing. She had excellent bedside manner, listened to my concerns, and provided effective solutions. She scheduled a follow-up, and the entire experience was what I always hoped for in a doctor's visit. The facility was organized, clean, the staff were helpful and well informed, and I was seen quickly. I'm now giving them five stars and hope to see more doctors like Dr. Selland and her amazing staff in Vermont. Thank you!

I am appalled by the review referring to Dr. Borofsky as "Jen" and making an offensive comment that I am 100% sure the reviewer never would have made about a male doctor. We can all assure him that women who graduate from Middlebury College and UVM Medical School are not "little girls" and are not "playing" or pretending in their careers. Personally. I have had several primary care physicians over 30 years as an adult, many of whom had extremely impressive experience and accolades, and Dr. Borofsky is the first among them to have truly provided me with the care I needed - she is perceptive, caring and professional, and her expertise has been spot-on so far. If you are lucky enough to get off the wait list to see her, I highly recommend her.

I went to see dr Borovsky about pains in my back. After finding out it was my cancer that I had been diagnosed with a year earlier was back. And spread from my pancreas to my lymph nodes and into my liver and this was causing my pain. I haven’t been able to lye down in my bed for 2 months now Jen refuses to do anything for the pain. I’ve talked with other people and they too have moved on from her. The general consensus is she’s a little girl playing doctor. Also when she was showing me the imaging she really had no ideas what she was showing me. It was actually pretty sad. My advice is if u have a serious issue do not rely on Jen borovsky.

In my experience, Dr Jennifer Borofsky is a very competent and compassionate doctor, and I would recommend her for someone seeking a primary care physician.
