FDLRS Child Find

I worked with so many local resources to try to find support for my foster kid and Child Find was by far the least compassionate and helpful. We waited months to get my kid evaluated and even after it was complete, we waited another month and a half to hear the results and get my kid set up for services because they had to coordinate a bunch of school employees (from a school my kid would never be going to) to be a part of the meeting. For an organization that is the barrier to getting real support in the school system, you’d think they could develop better processes and actually learn how to work with families that are struggling.

This place is for child find and I had the assessment done for my little one to find the child find.
