Florida Family Dental Care

I hate to do this because everyone there was incredibly nice, but I feel like i have to. I had a root canal done there and 5 years later, my current dentist and oral surgeon are telling me it was done so poorly that the tooth is now not salvageable and I will need to have it extracted. Dr Scott did a poor job cleaning out each of the canals and even missed one completely. Then broke part of the post and neglected to tell me. The infection has persisted over the years without me being aware and was eating away at the tooth to the point where the only option is to have a very costly procedure done to extract the tooth and then put in an implant. I’m sure it’s a great place to get routine dental work done but for anything more complicated, I would recommend going elsewhere.

I would give less than a star if possible...they told me that my insurance covers 100%, yet they insisted I pay in advance. Then they messed up the insurance claim and lie to about why the delay in getting reimbursed. I had to call the insurance company to find out that the delay was because they improperly filled out the claim forms. I also discovered that they don't cover 100% because dentist over charged for the procedures by double. Every time I called I was told I had to wait, that they would call. But never once did they call. I had the service done in Nov. it's almost February and I'm still waiting to get reimbursed. Everyone there were incredibly sweet from the front staff to the dentist and hygienist Very professional and caring I’m so happy I found this practice ❤️

I've been coming here since I was a little kid and I can say as someone with bad anxiety the friendly atmosphere always sooths the nerves and everyone is so nice.

Dr. Scott and his staff are the best. My entire family has had nothing but great experiences with this office and hope to continue to do so for many years to come!!!!!!
