I have never written a review on any business ever, but I have never in my life had an experience with such a place as I have this one OMG I've heard people say I wouldn't take my dog to that place and never really understood what they meant now I do I love my dog. First of all I called them because I had another doctor give me their number. I give them all my insurance information and all my personal information. Everything they asked for and everything appeared to be fine. I had an appointment set up and when I got to the appointment bounced to me I was told that they do take my insurance, but they're out of network and I have Dollars a co-pay of $210. 1 star is being generous as this practice deserves zero. The doctor and the therapist are both very nice but the office staff is absolutely horrible! First they will charge you $125 “convenience fee” just to ignore your calls and only communicate through text message. They will try and schedule you much more than necessary to maximize their profit. They will also charge you $100 to reschedule your appointment or cancel it. If you do end up going here please stay on top of your claims they submit to your insurance as they will up charge and charge your insurance for invalid dates of service when you weren’t even seen in the office. I was admitted to the hospital for pneumonia and sepsis. The hospital set up a follow up appointment with this provider. I had not heard from them and called the day of the appointment to confirm. I then found out they operate the entire clinic on a cell phone and took forever to get back to me. When I finally got in touch with them they informed me they had canceled my appointment after not hearing from me (like what, I was in the hospital!) without ever telling me because they were not in network with my insurance provider! They gave me the number to an insurance broker and left me to scramble to find a new provider and appointment while still sick and suffering from brain fog and confusion. I would give zero stars if I could. This place is completely taking advantage of people and it’s disgusting. First, I asked them if they had prior authorization for my insurance company to make sure that I was covered. Prior to my appointment I gave my insurance information so that they could check on it and upon my arrival they hadn’t even made contact with my insurance company. I told them I didn’t mind waiting because I didn’t want to end up with a bill if my insurance did not cover it. After waiting almost 2 hours I was finally told I had to pay $125 access fee, In case I needed the doctor during off hours. First off dr. Symonides is a very nice doctor. However his staff is the worst staff I have ever dealt with. I am a certified medical assistant and have worked in the medical field for a long time and have done almost every position in the office except being the doctor. I have never treated patients this poorly. The staff won’t answer questions, they send text and won’t reply unless it’s something they want, they demand money when my deductible is met and then refuse to tell me what time my appt is the day of my appt because they say I owe money when my insurance had said the deductible is met. I don’t mind paying a balance or copay. But the professionalism is seriously lacking. I hope Dr. can get it together because this is ridiculous and he is way to nice to have such horrible staff. It
